FAQ-Real Estate Purchase/Sale

Do I need to consult an attorney to perform a real estate transaction?

Answer:Real estate contracts (offers to purchase, purchase and sales, etc.) generally result in a significant legal and financial consequences. For the average person, investment in real property is the single most valuable investment made in a lifetime. Real estate professionals are not attorneys, and do not have the specialized training in order to advise you on many of the issues that might need to be considered in the drafting of a purchase agreement. The best time to consult an attorney is before any agreement is reached, and certainly before any document is signed.
